Job Responsibilities: (Operation Incharge –Warehouse, Plant Stores & Transportation)
Warehouse Operation/ Inventory management:
Looks after day to day transaction and Planning, directing and maintaining warehouse, store activities and managing frontline operation.
Daily coordination with plant PPC team for daily production planning and sort out issues between supplier/transporter/plant.
Monitoring receipt, inspection, storage, inventory and distribution of stock commodities to manufacturing units.
Inventory record accuracy (SKU wise & Batch wise), Stock reviews and ensuring zero stock outs.
Organizing and managing the incoming & outgoing material activities.
Following up with the Transporters for the goods from different parts of the country.
Allocation/ transfer of stocks, routine inspection of physical stock at the warehouse.
Monthly reconciliation, month end activities and audits done.
Interface between supplier and Buyer team/Plant to resolving daily issues
Distribution planning of stores and preparing dispatch schedule on daily basis.
Expertise in developing a logistics network, ensuring freight track and traceability and all other transactional works.
Plant stock availability basis replenishment.
Demand & Supply Management: (Inbound / Outbound Logistics)
Maintaining Demand Forecast and Supply Plans for Supply Chain; ensuring that product demand forecast & supply are accurate.
Follow up with counter parts for dispatch of parts as per the order placed.
Instruction & guideline to the shift person for dispatch priority in the shift.
Communication of the sector wise fleet requirement to each service providers.
Leading the team for following up with the Milk-run vehicles for the materials which has to be picked up from different suppliers.
Releasing schedules to supplier based on tentative Monthly/Weekly/Daily Production plan.
Taking follow up with the specified team & ensuring material availability in store as per schedules.
Vendor & Fleet Management
Monitoring on time delivery with transit norms.
Close Co-ordination with the transporters on daily basis about fleet requirement and priority movement.
Co-ordination of freight payments claims etc. with accounts.
Dealing with WSP, supervisors, labors, transporters.
Weekly report of vehicle up time and availability.
Fleet capacity utilization
Weekly fleet maintenance costs location vehicle wise, fuel efficiency.
Mailing MIS & KPI regarding Pick-up failure notice to supplier/management according to their schedule & actual.
